MEET PHILLIP COOPER

Phillip is 11 years old and is making a difference to honor one of his heroes. When faced with the question, who is your hero, Phillip’s answer came instantly…Bryan Clauson.

At his school, he had to do a project that would affect his grade by over 50 percent. Phillip had to choose someone famous and had to write a five paragraph paper about this person. He then had to create a display board and recite a three to four minute monologue every time someone visited his booth.

Phillip’s teacher didn’t know who Bryan Clauson was, but Phillip was able to convince his teacher that Bryan was famous.

Philip said that he picked Bryan for this project because “he has inspired me and is my hero.” We asked him a few questions and were inspired by his answers.

In your opinion, why is Bryan Clauson a hero?

Bryan is my hero for a lot of reasons. He was a great race car driver, and when he set goals he didn’t give up. He was a good example on and off the track, and he liked dogs.

What does “Be Like Bryan” mean to you?

“Be Like Bryan” means always believe in yourself, set goals, race hard, win and think of others.

Why do you think it’s important to be Driven2SaveLives?

Driven2SaveLives gives people a chance to understand the things that can be done by donating. They can save lives and not everyone knows that, so now they can learn about it.

What’s the coolest part of being a donor?

To me, the coolest part of being a donor is that one day I can help a family by saving their kids. If I have an accident, then another person can be helped.

Phillip is Driven2SaveLives…are you?
